Henry Monk's work moves between portraiture, interiors, and transit scenes, building images that feel at once immediate and recovered. Observation is never treated as neutral description; it is filtered through memory, revision, and an alert sensitivity to the emotional charge of color and structure.
The living archive format presents each work as part of a larger evolving syntax rather than as an isolated object.
